Heredia Province

Heredia Province covers 1,780 square miles and boasts right at 400,000 inhabitants as of 2006. Heredia has 10 cantones and 46 districts. The 10 cantones are: Heredia, Barva, Santo Domingo, Santa Barbara, San Rafael, San Isidro, Belen, Flores, San Pablo and Sarapiqui.

Heredia Province is known for its outstanding climates and central location. All of the 10 cantones are popular retirement locations for North Americans and Europeans alike.
